Alex now 13, just whaled on the Ergotar at the Jimmy Hendrix Birthday Tribute celebration at BB Kings in NY, Nov 27th 2010. Alex  is currently fronting the Alex Raz Band, with 14 yr old Megan Muniak on bass, 11yr old Joey Samson on drums. Alex also has another project with 6 yr old drumming prodigy Julian Pavone & 12 yr old bassist Katelin Deutsch. Alex's former band Recess was featured on Yahoo.com's front page in April 09 -the Separate Ways video of the band got over a million hits that week. Here are a list of Alex's other career accomplishments: *  Recorded CD at age 9, with Legendary bassist Ralphe Armstrong, from the Mahavishnu Orchestra/Jon Luc Ponty. *  It was also produced by 3-time Grammy winner Mark Pastoria from Harmonie Park Studio's in Detroit. *  Earned a guitar endorsement from Dean Guitars, one of the youngest to ever receive a guitar endorsement, age 11. *  Played for crowd's of up to 5,000 people when he was 9, at Nelson Ledges State Park in Ohio. *  Played at the Whiskey a GoGo in Hollywood, CA, age 11. *  Played live on the morning show's at WGN TV in Chicago, and Fox 8 in Cleveland Morning show 2008. *   Played the Star Spangled Banner on guitar at the Quicken Loans Arena in March 2009, twice. MAC Men's basketball finals game, and Women's finals game at the Q. *  Played the anthem on guitar Aug 13th, 2012 for The Cleveland Indians Major League Baseball game vs. Seattle Marines * Won the Cleveland Cavaliers Top Talent Contest 2009. Played during 1st half in between timeouts, and then after winning a text vote by the crowd, won and got to play at halftime for over 20,000 fans in attendance. *  Alex's music video's have over 4 million views on the internet total between Yahoo & Youtube.
